The Origin of the Idea
The unique 42 acre property on which Cougar ridge Lodge was built, was discovered many years ago in Torrey Utah. It was seen often on frequent business excursions to the local stone plant. The serene and natural beauty of Torrey and the surrounding area, always kept us coming back. 
The property was purchased in 1994. The cabin, which is nestled quietly between two red rock cliffs, was built in 2003 after enjoying the area for a couple of years.
It was at this time that we decided we needed to share! Our vision is to import you to our own little piece of paradise in Torrey Utah where you will have the ability to explore, relax, learn, and seek adventure!
We want to cater to your dream vacation. When you contact us we will pay the utmost attention to every detail – From organizing your meals, transport & activities while you enjoy all the comforts and exclusive use of the Lodge.
Or you can enjoy a low key retreat and just enjoy the beautiful setting of the facility and peace of your own suite.

From intimate weddings to active weekends or corporate retreats, we can help you organize a personalized itinerary. Ideal for groups from 4 – 12 people, staying at the lodge. We also have the ability to organize larger retreats in which we will collaborate with other local facilities.
